Education and Experience
I received my B.A. from Rutgers College and my master’s (Psy.M.) and doctoral (Psy.D.) degrees from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP).
I am a licensed psychologist in New Jersey (License #6064) and New York (License #022823) and am Board Certified in Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). I am also a certified psychoanalyst through the New Jersey Institute for Training in Psychoanalysis, where I currently serve as a faculty member and member of the Training Board.
In addition to my private practice, I am Affiliate Faculty at Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), where I teach and supervise doctoral students. Earlier in my career, I served as a Postdoctoral Associate and Assistant Research Professor at Rutgers where I conducted research on behavioral and mental health interventions in schools.
My clinical work is informed by my extensive training in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as cognitive behavioral and other evidence-based approaches. I have also pursued advanced training in group psychotherapy at the Center for Group Studies in Manhattan. I work with adolescents and adults in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy.
My professional and academic work has also included teaching and training other mental health professionals. I am the author of more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles and have delivered approximately 40 professional presentations and workshops on topics such as psychological trauma, grief, individual and group psychotherapy, and mental health.

Telepsychology and PSYPACT
In addition to being licensed in New Jersey and New York, I hold an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT #11487) through the PSYPACT Commission. PSYPACT is an interstate compact that allows authorized psychologists to provide telepsychology across state lines in participating jurisdictions, subject to PSYPACT requirements.
This allows me to provide remote psychotherapy to eligible patients located in PSYPACT jurisdictions, outside of New Jersey and New York.
